Questions before ordering
Nothing is bought on this site. These answers explain how an order moves from your first enquiry to payment, and what happens if plans change.
-
How do I place an order?
Send an enquiry through the contact page describing the story or session, the date and your delivery needs. A producer will reply, ask anything that is unclear and prepare a written quotation. Work begins once you confirm that quotation in writing.
-
What does a written quotation contain?
It sets out the service, the date and location, the crew involved, what is included, the delivery format and the price. It also lists anything that would change the price, such as extra travel or extra edit rounds, so there are no surprises.
-
How and when do I pay?
After the work is delivered, or at an earlier point agreed in the quotation, we send an invoice. You pay it by bank transfer using the details on the invoice. We do not take card payments or payments through this website.
-
What can change the price?
Distance travelled, overnight stays, longer filming days, additional crew members, rush edits outside normal hours and extra rounds of changes can all alter the figure. Each is discussed with you and agreed in writing before the work goes ahead.
-
What happens if I need to cancel?
Tell us as soon as you know. Cancellation terms depend on how close the booking is to the date and whether a crew has already been committed. The payment and refund policy sets out the details, and your quotation refers to it.
-
How is a refund paid?
Where a refund is due under the payment and refund policy, we return it by bank transfer to the account that paid the invoice. We confirm the amount in writing before sending it.
-
Do you charge for a fast turnaround?
Breaking news filming is built around speed, so quick delivery is part of the standard service. Work needed outside normal hours, or at very short notice, may be priced differently, and we will say so in the quotation.
-
Can I get a price for regular work?
Yes. If you expect to commission us repeatedly, describe the pattern in your enquiry. We can write a quotation that sets out agreed rates for the services you use, so that each later request starts from known terms.
Write to us through the contact page with your story, studio session, edit or live link-up. We will reply with questions and a written quotation.
