News video services for television broadcasters
Five services cover the route from a developing story to a finished package: filming, studio recording, editing, live link-ups and support for in-house newsroom teams.
Five ways we help your newsroom get pictures on air
reportsia is a Swansea production company that films, edits and delivers news video for television. Our crews work from a small studio and in the field, so a story can be shot, cut and handed over in one place and often the same day.

Breaking News Filming
Rapid-response camera crews who reach a developing story and file broadcast-quality footage within hours.
Studio Interviews
Lit, sound-controlled studio sessions for guests, experts and presenters, recorded for television use.
News Package Editing
Editing of raw footage, voice-over and graphics into finished packages that fit broadcast running times.
Live Link-Ups
Portable live camera and transmission setups for reporters on location, with a producer on call.
Newsroom Workflow Support
Advice and training on shot logging, file handling and quick-turn production for in-house news teams.
Tell us the story, the broadcast slot and the format your desk expects. We will agree the scope in writing before any work begins.

Rapid dispatch
Once the brief is agreed by phone, a crew heads to the location with camera, tripod, microphones and a light kit. You tell us the angle you need and who to contact on arrival.
Shooting for the edit
Callum and the crew record wide, medium and close shots, cutaways and natural sound, so your editor has material to build a sequence without returning to the scene.
Interviews on the spot
Where the story needs a voice, the producer arranges short interviews with witnesses or officials, framed and recorded cleanly, with names and titles noted for captions.
Filing the footage
Rushes are logged and sent to you in the file format and naming your desk uses. Anything still being shot can follow in batches, so your team can start work early.
From first call to files on your server
Every commission follows the same short route, whether it is a single interview or a day of field filming. Each step ends with something written down, so you always know what has been agreed and what happens next.
Enquiry through the contact page
You send the details of the story, the service you want, the date and the broadcast slot. Rhian reads every enquiry and replies with questions where the brief is thin, so the scope is clear before any cost is discussed.
Written quotation
We set out in writing what the price covers: crew, equipment, travel, editing time and file delivery. It also states what would change the figure, such as extra shoot days or additional edited versions.
Confirmation and planning
Once you confirm in writing, the producer fixes crew, kit and timings, and agrees contacts on site. For studio work, Owen prepares the lighting and sound plan for your guests.
Filming and editing
The crew shoots, the footage is logged, and where editing is part of the job, Priya cuts to the running time you set. You review and send comments, and we adjust the cut before final delivery.
Delivery and invoice
Final files go to you in the agreed format. We then issue an invoice for the confirmed work, payable by bank transfer. Cancellations and refunds follow the payment and refund policy.
